How to update Left4Dead ?

If you want to update Left4Dead, you’ll need to download a few zip files. I put them on Filedropper. All you have to do is extract the zip where you want, copy and paste the files on your main Left4Dead directory.

Update Note : You can now download the Cumulative Update, it will update your game from every version to the 1.0.1.1

For example, if you want to update your game from version 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.7, download the 1000_to_1007.zip file, extract the files where you want, go into the 1000_to_1007 folder than you just extracted, copy all the files and paste them into your Left4Dead main folder ! Do the same for every patch.

Important note : you must patch your game in order, from the oldest patch to the newer. If you’ve got the version 1.0.0.5 or any version under 1.0.0.9 you can even download and install the xxxx_to_1009.zip patch, and apply the other patch until you get to the 1.0.1.1.

The MaterialSystem.dll must be pasted in the Left4Dead/bin folder.

The Revolution Steam’s Emulator, can be useful if you make a SRCDS Serv :
